Orange Rug Yarn Musings

I'm so excited, I just got the supply list for my first EGA GCC - Beginning Drawn Thread Sampler. The image here is designed and stitched the instructor, Jonalene T. Gutwein. I haven't picked my colors yet. I think I have some darker blue linen that is the right size and I'm somewhat tempted to do something with brighter less traditional colors. I tend to always go with muted and/or traditional colors but really admire things that are a bit more edgy. It seems like this could be a good opportunity to play with this.Of course, rather than getting excited about a new project and shopping; I really need to be working on my brother's wedding gift... But the edging is really boring. I need to rent a couple of videos and just make myself do it...
