Suspended Bind Off

About a year ago I discovered a fabulous book called Cast On Bind Off by Leslie Ann Bestor. Mostly I have been using it for casting on my knitting, but today I used it to bind off, as I had a project that specifically was supposed to be bound off loosely, and while I don't usually bind off too tight, I wouldn't call my usual bind off loose, but going up a needle size often results in a too loose edge. The suspended bind off process looks silly:

but it is almost as easy to do as a regular bind off and I'm happy with the results.
